Every year, the last weekend of August takes place in Arenas de Cabrales (Cabrales, Asturias) the celebration of the Cabrales Cheese Contest, with exhibition and demonstrations of the elaboration of this cheese. The event, which has been declared a Festival of Tourist Interest of the Principality of Asturias, has once again been a success in its 2017 edition.
